18,000 BTU Wall Split Heat And Cool Air Conditioning Unit Installed In An Annexe

One of our recent air conditioning installation projects, was for a customer in Ware in Hertfordshire, who was looking for an air conditioning unit which offered both heating and cooling ability; to be installed in the lounge in his Annexe building.

After carrying out the site survey, we recommended an 18,000 BTU (5kW) iPAC model, white gloss, heat pump, wall split air conditioning unit, with the indoor unit being installed in the lounge, and the outdoor compressor unit, sat on some rubber flexi feet mounting block foot, at ground level.

The reason we went with the rubber flexi feet, instead of a standard wall bracket, was the fact that this air conditioning installation was for an annexe building, with a wooden frame; and having these rubber flexi feet, eliminates any chance of any vibration issues, in this type of installation.

For the electrics, a weatherproof outdoor fused spur was situated on the outside wall, with white round pvc trunking, being used to cover the cabling for this.

For the actual copper pipe work, white square pvc trunking was used, for a neat, and tidy finish.

24,000 BTU Wall Split Air Conditioning Unit Installed In A New Kitchen Extension

For this air conditioning installation project; we had a customer in Croydon, who was looking for an air conditioning unit, that offered both heating and cooling ability for their new kitchen extension.

After completing the site survey, we recommended an iPAC model 24,000 BTU (7kW) white gloss heat and cool heat pump wall split air conditioning unit, which was the perfect choice for this application.

The indoor unit was situated on the kitchen wall, with the outdoor compressor unit being situated on the outside wall, on a wall bracket, just to the left of the bi-fold doors, with a rotary isolator installed for the power on the outside wall too.

For the outside trunking to hide / cover the cabling for the electrics, both white and black coloured round conduit was used. White conduit was used on the left hand side to match the white walls, and black conduit was used just to left of the bi-fold doors, to blend in with the colour of the bi-fold doors.

9,000 BTU Wall Split Air Conditioning Unit Installed In A Brand New Garden Summer House

For this air conditioning installation project; we had an enquiry from a customer in Tilbury in Essex, who was in the process of having a company construct and build a brand new summer house for their residential garden at home.

The summer house was 16.72 square metres in total, so the ideal air conditioning unit for this size room was a 9,000 BTU (2.7kW) unit.

As the summer house was mainly going to be for use in the summer months, with some use in the winter months, the customer was also interested in a heat pump inverter air conditioning unit, that also offered a heating mode, for the colder winter months.

As standard, all of our heat pump inverter wall split air conditioning units, offer both heating and cooling; so the customer was happy when we proposed one of our 9,000 BTU white gloss iPAC units; which the customer decided to go ahead with, and have our company carry out both the supply and installation of this unit.

With this installation; we had limited space outside, where the outdoor unit was situated, which you can see from the picture, and the outdoor unit was situated neatly on the floor on some rubber flexi feet mounting block foot, which eliminates any chance of vibration from the outdoor unit.

To add to the finishing touch; black trunking was used to cover the outdoor copper pipe work, and cabling for the electrics, and to make the installation extremely neat and tidy.
